I think sports is a symbol of globalization.
l like baseball but it isn't originally sports of Japan.
It was handed down from the United States in the past.
And now, baseball become worldwide sports.
World Baseball Classic was held in 2009 and it put enthusiasm (probably) all over the world!
It is strength about globalization that people all over the world are interested in the same event.
So we can communicate with other country people in the globalization.

On the other hand, there is limitations about globalization.
I went to social-welfare class with cabbage27 and we studied about handicapped people.
Then I learnt "the thalidomide scandal" for the first time.
Thalidomide is a drug which was given to pregnant woman,it was found to have prevented some babies from developing normal arms and legs in the 1960s.
The sleeping medicine including thalidomide was imported from West Germany and a lot of thalidomide babies were born in Japan.
The globalization has good points and bad points.
Though The globalization is necessary for us, I think we have not to depend on the globalization too much.
thank you for your comment.

Hello!! I'm Iori. Nice to meet u. There are a lot of sports in the world. So, I think that sports are related to globalization too. Thinking about globalization is difficult, but we need to think about it with everyone.
返信削除I agree wiz ur opinion cuz I'm sportsman now. :) Tha's why I can understand ur opinion from the bottom of my heart for the reason. Actually many sports which are baseball, soccer, track and field great effects in this world. For instance, World Cup, Olinpic Games and others. Thus I'll try to spread globalization as I play my sport in the future!
返信削除WBC was so excited. Players who have pride of their countries fought and gave us impression. World gets more globalized through sports, too.
返信削除I also think sports is common to many diffrent countries, especially soccer.During World Cup, many people inthe world enjoy.
